Best Robotic Vacuums for 2018: Top 5 High-End Vacuum Robot Brands
We collected user overall satisfaction for 39 robotic vacuum cleaners from 12 different brands. Each of the 9515 users who responded provided a score between 1 and 5 that rates their experience with the vacuum robot and the customer service of the manufacturer. The average scores for all vacuum robots of each brand led to the final ranking.
For each of these brands, we provide you with a summary that describes the pros and cons. The also introduce the best high-end vacuum robot for each brand. Last, we include links to more detailed reviews and user feedback.

Surprisingly, Samsung, the south-Korean electronics giant, is the one who achieves the worst user satisfaction scores in our selection. In average the Samsung PowerBot robotic vacuums score only 3.4 in average out of 5! The high-end PowerBot 9350, is just above the average, with a 3.5 over 5.

Having said that, we must admit that Samsung did a very good job regarding the look of its robotic vacuum cleaners. Vacuum robots by LG score in average 3.8 out of 5 in user satisfaction. The quality of the LG robots is rather uniform. Indeed, the best score is 3.9 obtained by the LG Hom-Bot VR65704LVM.
LG promises that its robotic vacuums are quiet. With its announced 60 dB, the Hom-Bot VR65704LVM noise level is equivalent to conversational speech or an air conditioner. This is much below the 70 dB of the Roomba, which is equivalent to the noise of a shower. Indeed, a 60dB noise level is bearable if you are reading or cooking. But, operating your Hom-Bot vacuum robot would be annoying if you want to watch TV, talk over the phone, let alone sleeping.

Neato robotics is makes the most innovative good quality vacuum robots. In average, the Botvac vacuum robots score in average 3.9 out of 5 in user satisfaction. The flagship Botvac D7 Connected robotic vacuum is the best regarding its features and performance. It even surpasses the mighty Roomba 980.
